In 1961, Gary Andrews opened a carpet and furniture cleaning business to serve Tyler and the East Texas area. Over the last 45 years, his business has developed from a one-man operation to a multifaceted company offering many products and services.

In 1973, Andrews Carpets opened its beautiful new showroom at 2811 University Boulevard, featuring a wide selection of carpet, vinyl, ceramic tile and wood floors. Andrews' years of cleaning experience have enabled him to correctly advise his customers as to the best carpet for their indivdual needs. He has a large selection of carpets that have a 10 year guarantee against matting, crushing, static and stains. In 2000, Andrews Carpets became affiliated with Flooring America, a group of over 600 stores, in order to give their customers an even greater selection of floor covering products.

Today, Andrews Carpets is a diverse company offering a variety of products and services. Their Disaster Restoration Division features complete renovation of flood damaged homes and offices. Andrews also has a 24-hour "Hot Line" for emergency water removal. When the carpet is dry, Andrews' installation crews will clean and re-install the carpet on new pad. They also feature the latest in ozone deodorization and truck mounted units for carpet, furniture, drapes, tile (flooring and countertops) and expert oriental rug cleaning.
